Hi: Install the Vista driver like this. Run the file at the link below. You will probably get an unsupported operating system or whatever. Close out of any error windows. Go to the device manager and click on to expand the Display Adapters category. Click on the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter. Click on the driver tab.
Click on Update Driver. Select the Browse My Computer for Software method and browse to the installation folder that was created when you ran the file.
That will be located in C: SWSetup sp34749. Make sure the Include Subfolders box is checked and the driver should install. Upon reboot, your video should be better than it is now. Hopefully that will fix the PPt program error too. There is no automatic installation procedure for it. I don't know what model wireless card your notebook uses, so please do the following steops so I can figure that out. Go to the device manager, find the Other Devices category, and click on the Network Controller needing drivers. Then click on the Details tab at the top of the Network Controller window. Now you see a Property drop down list and it is defaulted to Device Description. Drop down on that and select the second item on the list (Hardware ID's). Post the top string of characters that you see in the window.
You can try the Vista audio driver from your notebook's support and driver page, or if you can currently connect to the internet using the wired network adapter, go to the device manager and click on the multimedia audio controller needing drivers. Click on the driver tab. Click on Update Driver and select the automatic search. After a few minutes, windows update should find and install the audio driver you need.
If you can't connect using a cable right now then you can do this after I find the wireless card driver you need.
